About Me

John Fisher is a General Manager and team builder with unique experience working for large and mid-sized private companies.Fisher, who is responsible for marketing and merchandising programs at the company’s Kangaroo Express convenience stores and its 250-plus restaurants, has been with The Pantry since March 2010.A mechanical engineer and proud graduate of The University of Notre Dame, John joined the Colgate-Palmolive Company and worked as a 3rd shift production foreman in the largest toothpaste manufacturing plant in the world. He made an unusual career transition into brand management and worked on some of Colgate’s best businesses. He later spent 12 years with The Coca-Cola Company where he led his team to the highest employee engagement scores in the Coke system, and an unparalleled customer management culture. John’s most recent position was SVP at The Pantry, Inc., the third largest publicly traded convenience store chain in the US, with nearly 1600 stores. He lives, works, coaches, and loves in Raleigh, NC, with his wife and five children.
